Feminine role names - research of Karolina Hansen

Using feminine role names is provoking lots of controversies. Latest research by Karolina Hansen and her co-authors is showing that exposure to gender-fair language makes people use it more themselves and, as a consequence, to perceive a higher percentage of women in a given role. It happens even when the roles are as extreme as heroes (and heroines) and murderers (and murderesses).
