Aims of the Centre:
Conducting interdisciplinary research on prejudice, xenophobia, conflicts, as well as openness in intergroup relations.
Training scientists, with a particular emphasis on doctoral studies.
Applying knowledge from psychology and other social sciences to reduce prejudce and to resolve intergroup conflict.
Creating a place for meeting and dialogue between people of different nations and cultures (thanks to the location of the Centre in the Faculty of Psychology at the former site of the Umschlagplatz)
