Call for Expressions of Interest in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships
The Centre for Research on Prejudice at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw invites post-doctoral applicants for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF) in the leading Eastern European research unit focused on the study of intergroup relations.
Located in the heart of Warsaw, a vibrant city with significant history, Center for Research on Prejudice is a dynamic institution that conducts large-scale survey studies, experimental research, brain-imaging studies and archival analyses. Closely collaborating with several non-profit organizations (e.g.Forum for Dialogue, American Jewish Committee Central Europe, Polin Museum, Over Zero: Democracy Fund) it balances basic research and theory building with social impact and applied scope.
Currently, the faculty of the Center includes Drs. Michał Bilewicz (director of the Center, Associate Professor of Psychology), Mikołaj Winiewski (Assistant Professor of Psychology), Paulina Górska (Assistant Professor of Psychology) and Karolina Hansen (Assistant Professor of Psychology), as well as post-doctoral researchers, Wiktor Soral, Olga Kamińska, Aleksandra Świderska, and doctoral students.

Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for PhD holders in social or political psychology with a focus on intergroup relations. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent track records and working on topics within the Center for Research on Prejudice areas of expertise.
Expression of interest
Interested applicants should send an expression of interest by July 12th 2019 to Katarzyna Szyniszewska: email@example.com or dr hab. Michał Bilewicz firstname.lastname@example.org. The expression of interest should include 1) a CV, 2) a research proposal no longer than 2,000 words, and 3) a cover letter outlining why the applicant wishes to apply with the Center for Research on Prejudice. The review of expressions of interest will take place by June 20th 2019. MSCA-IF proposal will be prepared by selected applicants in liaison with the supervisor based at the Center. The application deadline for full proposals to be submitted to the European Commission is September 11th 2019.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships support the career development and training of excellent researchers via international mobility. MSCA-IF allow developing research potential offering attractive working conditions. Selection criteria for the MSCA-IF are research quality, career development prospects, and support of the hosting institute.
Eligible candidates are experienced researchers (possessing a doctoral degree or at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience), of any nationality, who have not resided in Poland for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior the call deadline.
