Research interests

My current research interests focus on the role of language and emotions in intergroup relations. I study emotions, especially positive, elicited by exposure to hate speech. I’m interested in when such emotion appear and what feeling them can lead to. I’m also interested in studying factors influencing the wellbeing of minoritized groups. I also study effects of exposure to hate speech and experiencing discrimination on mental health and wellbeing of minoritized groups.
